Taking membership vows to join the local church is such an exciting time in the Christian journey. When someone becomes a member of Gethsemane, they commit to participate and support the ministries of the church through their prayers, presence, gifts, service, and witness.
Currently we are planning to have a Church Membership luncheon on Sunday, Sept 15th following the service in the fellowship hall. We will have spend our time together:
1. Getting to know each other
2. Learning about Gethsemane's history
3. Reviewing Gethsemane's beliefs
4. Sharing ministries at Gethsemane
5. Reviewing what it means to become a member of Gethsemane
We welcome our new members publicly during our Fall Celebration service on Sunday, October 27th at 6:00pm. We will be celebrating Gethsemane moving 'Forward in Faith', testimonies, accepting new members, and providing time for outward expression of an inward faith through baptisms.
